Approach & Entrance;
From the south - Round Cabo Espichel and steer 344º. Enter the Rio Tejo between Fort Sao Julio on the N shore and Fort Bugio in the channel to the SE.
From the north - Keep 1 mile of Cabo da Roca and Cabo Rasa. Follow the coast and enter the Rio Tejo between Fort Sao Julio on the N shore and Fort Bugio in the channel to the SE.
To enter - Care is needed as there are strong cross currents at the entrance. The entrance is on the N shore of the river. It lies 7 miles upstream of the Torre de Belem amd about 1.5 miles short of the Vasco de Gama bridge.

Berths - Secure to the visitors berth and report to the office.
