Approach & Entrance;
From the south - The coast has some off lying hazards and yachts should keep outside the 20m line. Head in from the 20m line and follow the buoyed channel on a course of 005º.
From the north - The coast has some off lying hazards and yachts should keep outside the 20m line. Round the outer breakwater leaving it 500m to port. Follow the buoyed channel on a course of 005º.
To enter - Leave the entrance to the fishing dock to port and continue up the buoyed channel. The entrance to the marina is to port just before the bridge. There are strong cross currents at the entrance and care is needed.

Berths - The visitors berth is on the first pontoon on entry. Choose any empty berth unless directed otherwise. Secure bow or stern to the pontoon and pick up a lazy line.

Shopping - Good shopping in the town, daily fish and produce market, several supermarkets and a hypermarket

Eating Out - Many restaurants, bars and cafes in the town. The Club Nautico has a bar that serves snacks.

Local Area - A walk to the Basilica on Monte de Santa Luzia will be rewarded with a fine view.
