General - The marina is situated in a larger harbour which is used by commercial and fishing craft. The marina is easy to approach and enter but shelter is limited with E - SE winds. There is considerable tourist development and the whole area is very crowded during the summer. Position - 39º 50' N 3º 08.5' E Charts - British Admiralty 3149 Spanish 3845, 3843, 3841, 965 French 5501 Approach & Entrance - From the S Approach the NW corner of Bahia de Alcudia on a W course toward the E breakwater. From the N round Cabos Pinar and Menorca and follow the coast at 0.25 mile. The E breakwater will be seen in the closer approach. Berths - Secure on the visitors pontoon making sure the fuel berth is not obstructed. Marina Contact ; Tel - Fax - Email - VHF Ch - 9 Maximum Length - 30m Water - On the pontoons. Electric - On the pontoons. Diesel & Petrol - On the fuel berth Security - Internet - Other Facilities & Services - 8 tonne crane. 80 tonne travel lift. Chandlers. Hull repairs. Engine repairs. Sailmakers. Showers Shopping - Adequate shopping in the local village surrounding the marina and more in the town of Alcudia 1 mile away. Eating Out - Several around the marina and harbour and many more in the town. Local Area - There is a Roman theatre, St Martin's cave and a castle and museum which may be of interest.
