Approach & Entrance - From the east, from Puerto de Malaga stay 800m of the coast and pass inside the prohibited area of the oil terminal situated to the south of Puerto de Malaga. Be aware of the exposed wreck in this area. The mass of high rise flats of Torremolinos ends just before Benalmadena. Stay well to the east of Laja de Bermeja. From the west, the prominent walls of Benalmadena can be seen when passing the small harbour of Punta Negra. Keep 800m of the coast and pass south of the Laja de Bermeja and make for a position where the southern end of the harbour bears due west. To enter approach from this position, leave the cardinal mark well to port, round the breakwater and enter on an E course. Go alongside the fuelling berth and apply for a berth at the control tower.

Maximum Length - 30 meters
General - A huge marina with over 150,000 square metres of water. There is good shelter with the only swell being experienced in a W gale. Whilst the surrounding area is the usual overpowering high rise blacks the marina itself is quite attractive. It was named best marina in the world in both 1995 and 1998. There are over 200 commercial premises including boutiques, night clubs and the usual numerous restaurants and bars. There is also a sea life centre.
