General - El Candado Marina lies 3.5 miles E of Malaga. It is suitable for vessels drawing 2m or less. With strong winds from the W - SW considerable swell builds up and the harbour becomes uncomfortable. Harbour charges are low

Approach & Entrance - This harbour is open to the W and entrance and exit may be difficult in strong winds from the W - SW. There is a large grey cement factory just to the E of the harbour. Approach a point 200m NW of the harbour entrance. There are red and green bouys marking the entrance channel. Berth stern to with a mooring bouy or anchor on the bow.
