General - The marina is situated inside what was originally a fishing harbour. The approach is easy but the entrance is narrow and once inside the harbour is congested with fishing boats. The area is heavily developed and very busy during the summer months. Position - 39º 42.7' N 3º 28' E Charts - British Admiralty 1703 Spanish 4241, 965 French 5501, 4722 Approach & Entrance - From the S pass Cap Verney, very high with 2 towers on the top. Cabo de Pera can be recognised by its lighthouse and lies just beyond Puerto Cala Ratjada. From the N cross the Bahia de Alcudia and round Cabo Farrutx. Cabo de Pera can be recognised by its lighthouse. Round Cat o des Farayos and the harbour will be seen. To enter the marine approach the outer end of the breakwater and leave it 20m to starboard. Berths - Secure alongside the breakwater Marina Contact ; Tel - Fax - Email - VHF Ch - 9 Maximum Length - m Water - On the pontoons. Electric - On the pontoons. Diesel & Petrol - From the fishing harbour. Security - Internet - Other Facilities & Services - 10 tonne crane Shopping - Limited shopping in the local village. Eating Out - Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the area Local Area - Excellent if crowded beaches in the area. The castle at Cabo de Pera may be of interest.
