Approach - From the W round the prominent Punta de Cala Figuera with its high cliffs and lighthouse, a white tower with black diagonal bands. Take a NE course across the Bahia de Palma toward the large cathedral with its small twin spires. The harbour walls will be identified closer in. From the E round Cabo Blanco with is steep yellow and white cliffs and white lighthouse. Steer NNW toward the mass of buildings that is Palma de Mallorca. Enter by rounding the head of the W breakwater and steer NW into the harbour.

General - This is an enormous marina in the capital of the island of Mallorca. In addition to the marina facilities the port is used by commercial shipping, fishing boats, ferries and the military. All this commercial traffic has right of way. Entry and shelter are excellent in all conditions. The marina gets very crowded in the summer months and berths are extremely difficult to obtain. Many yachts winter in the marina.

Shopping - All provisions can be obtained from the city. There are supermarkets and an excellent market for fresh food nearby.
Eating Out - Numerous restaurants around the marina and many more in the city.
Local Area - There is much to do in the city including 5 museums, the cathedral, a palace, castle and Arab baths.
