Approach & Entrance - Care in necessary in a strong onshore wind/swell. From the W there is little to help identify the marina's position until rounding the Punta de Velez Malaga. Then Torre del Mar light will come into view. A factory chimney to the NE of the marina is conspicuous. From the E There is a large block of flats 1 mile to the E of the harbour. The road bridge over the Rio del Algarrobo can be seen. Closer in the harbour wall will be visible. To enter approach the E end of the outer breakwater and round it leaving 25m. Beware fishing craft leaving at speed. Secure stern to on either the quay or pontoon.
