Puerto de Hospitalet de L'Infant, Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain

General - Puerto de Hospitalet de L'Infant is a medium sized marina run by the Club Nautico de L'Hospitalet Vandellos. It lies on the Costa Dorada on the E coast of Spain. Entrance is easy but difficult in S gales when a swell enters the harbour.

Position - 40º 59' N 0º 56' E

Approach & Entrance;
From the south - Puerto de Hospitalet de L'Infant is due N from Cabo Tortosa. Vandellos nuclear power station, 3 miles S of the harbour will be seen. The high rise buildings around the marina and its breakwaters will be seen in the closer approach.
From the north - Cabo Salou is readily identified. The houses, breakwaters and tower of Puerto Cambrils will be recognized. The high rise buildings around Puerto de Hospitalet de L'Infant and its breakwaters will be seen in the closer approach.
To enter - Approach on a N course. Leave the outer breakwater to starboard

Berths - Secure to the visitors quay, to port on entry and report to the Torre de Control.
