Approach & Entrance - The lighthouse is to the NE of the harbour which itself has 4 blocks of flats behind it. Enter the harbour having rounded the western end of the outer breakwaterside. Berth alongside the outer end of pontoon 5. The pontoon is unmanned by marineros but they will pick you up on CCTV cameras and be with you shortly to allocate a berth.

General - Medium sized marina with the usual development of restaurants and bars. Some swell on the outer ends of the pontoons with easterly winds.

Water & Electric - On th pontoons

Security - Good, pontoons are gated with a key card required for access

Internet - Free Wi-Fi from the tower.

Facilities & Services - Fish market within the harbour. 80 tonne travel lift, repairs at the boatyard, sailmaker, chandlers, life-raft servicing, diesel & petrol, supermarket, laundry.

Eating Out - Plenty of bars and restuarents in the complex and more in the town, a ten minute walk away

Local Area - Gibraltar is less than 20 miles away. Catch the bus to La Linea and walk across the frontier, you will need your passport. Another bus will take you to the village of Casares which clings to the side of a mountain. Marbella, popular with the rich and famous is another bus journey away. Don't expect to see the famous on the bus though, they are the ones in the Ferraris. Hire a car and drive up to the picturesque town of Ronda.
