The Solent is a strait separating the Isle of Wight from the mainland of England. It is an important arguably the UK's premier yachting centre and hosts the Cowes Week sailing event annually. Southampton Water is to the north of the Solent. Major sailing centres include; Cowes on the Isle of Wight, The River Hamble and Portsmouth Harbour

Our aim is to build a comprehensive collection of reports on harbours, marinas, anchorages & moorings in the Solent and beyond and we want your help to do it.
