January - Coronado Arts Ball - This evening of fun and fundraising benefits the Coronado Historical Association's annual Art Walk. The event includes entertainment, dinner and silent auction offering a wide range of art and packages of entertainment and recreation.

The largest flower show in the west, Coronado's annual flower show draws thousands of gardening and flower enthusiasts to Spreckels Park. Over 140 vendors set up for a weekend of entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and lots of fun. Sandcastle building begins at 9am on Sunday and sculptures are only available for viewing until 4:00pm due to tides.
September - Coronado Art Walk - This annual two-day celebration of the arts is a free, public event. Exhibits and entertainment are at the Coronado Ferry Landing.
October - Downtown Goes Ghostly - Trick or treat throughout Coronado's downtown with local merchants handing out candy to kids in costumes. Halloween parties are also held at the Coronado Community Center and the Coronado Public Library.
