General - Windward Yacht Yard is on the Merrimack River. This facility is the closest full service yard to the town of Newburyport. It is on the "ocean-side" of the bascule bridge. Landside views are of an attractive, well-maintained marina. Waterside views are across and down the River Merrimack.

Approach & Entrance; From the Gulf of Maine make for Ipswich Bay and then to Merrimack River. Windward Yacht Yard lies just past the town docks, on the port side, just before the bascule bridge.
