General - Port of Egypt Marina lies on the S shore of Long Island's North Fork at Southold. The docks are well sheltered. The facility combines, marina, boat yard and an 135 boat dry stack storage operation.

Approach and Entrance - From Long Island Sound make for the NE point of the North Fork, Round Orient Point and follow the S shore of the North Fork. From the Atlantic Ocean round Montauk Point at the E end on Long Island's Southern Fork then cross Block Island Sound and Gardiners Bay passing to the N of Gardiners Island and Shelter Island. Southold lies to the NW of Shelter Island. Port of Egypt Marina is on North End of Southold Bay near Hashamomuck Pond.
