									Slips & Moorings - 50 slips with 20 reserved for transients. There are no docks or slips, except for the seasonal, good-weather float. Instead, boats are lifted from the water and placed directly on trailers. Port Orford is one of a few marinas in the world that uses the "dolly dock" system. Max LOA 44', Beam 15'. 									Approach and Entrance - From the Pacific Ocean Cape Blanco, 6.5 miles to the north and Humbug Mountain, 4 miles to the south help pinpoint Port Orford. This is the only Oregon harbor without a river bar to cross. It's known as a safe harbor, and when the seas are angry, one of the best easy-access moorages on the Oregon coast.
