Calabria lies in the Mediterranean Sea on the southern coast of Italy. It is a narrow peninsula between the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west and the Ionian Sea and Gulf of Taranto to the east. It is separated from Sicily by the Strait of Messina. Major Yacht Charter centres include; Reggio di Calabria and Crotone.

Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean being only slightly smaller the Sicily, the largest. It lies in the western Mediterranean off the western coast of the Italian peninsula and just to the south of the French island of Corsica, separated by the narrow Strait of Bonifacio. Mountains dominate much Sardinia's interior; the highest point is Monti del Gennargentu at 1,834 metres. The coast of Sardinia boasts some of the most wonderful beaches in the Mediterranean. Sardinia combines ancient harbours, modern marinas and attractive anchorages off beautiful beaches.
